Summer 2010

Things have been good around here over the last year. I've lost 40 lbs. since October 2009, Marybeth is an RN working her dream job in an intensive care unit, Emma graduated preschool, and we were able to spend our 4th of July together.

In case you were wondering, my abs are pretty awesome. LOL. But I am a little too skinny for size 32 and have to buy the smallest size pants and stuff. Size 30 is a bit tough to find in the 'adult' section. Oh, and I shaved my crazy beard from over the winter.

End of Summer 2009

Overall was a pretty good summer. Some of the highlights include: our 7th wedding anniversary, horseback riding for Emma, 4th of July vacation at Myrtle Beach, a couple visits to Brookgreen Gardens, caught a lot of possums, Walter was 'fixed', I went to a funeral in Chicago, and got a new Eee PC. Update: The Eee PC network circuitry or motherboard hard wiring failed somehow, so it's now a $300 photo storage device incapable of going online.
