Marching Band Shirt Graphics
Overview: A small collection of marching band graphics commissioned for themed performances and final print‑ready shirt art.
Band will be back in swing before you know it. While going through folders and doing some housekeeping, I found my marching band shirt designs and custom high school band graphics from the last few high school marching band seasons.
Marching band graphics and more
The school always has the theme, music, and rough idea figured out before they reach out to me. It takes a week or so to work up sketches to match the vibe, and another couple days to wrap the illustrations into print-ready shirt graphics.
All visuals are delivered digitally as print-ready CMYK (or whatever the printer needs) for screen printing.
Twisted Fantasy marching band theme
Twisted Fantasy was an Alice in Wonderland mashup concept with the Wizard of Oz—a fun project because of the pieces involved. This had a last minute edit to the title, font, and the Cheshire Cat was removed 😞. Kind of a bummer, but them’s the breaks. Meow.
This concept changed mid-flight to remove the Cheshire Cat and make other adjustments.
Stained Visions marching band theme
Stained Visions had the most props I’ve ever seen on field (large colored panels, standing dividers, flags, batons, more flags, streamers, everything), not to mention a huge floor wrap.
Chaos Theory marching band theme
Chaos Theory was a fun and colorful concept. I wound up with an alternate design (unused) while exploring ‘butterfly effect’ visuals.
Wrapping up
Thanks for reading! Looking forward to another year of supporting our local school teams. If you’re intersted in band graphics or other visuals for you school let me know!
